Perfect Golf Event Awards $85,000 Hole-in-One Insurance Claim at Hunting Creek Country Club

Perfect Golf Event (a Signature Group-affiliated company), today announces the award of an $85,000 insurance claim for a hole-in-one prize at Hunting Creek Country Club in Prospect, Ky., its largest payout of 2020.
The winning ace was fired by Nick Porter on the course's par-3 second hole during the club's annual member-guest tournament on Sept. 11. Porter and his playing partners were just the third group of the day to play the stout one-shotter, which was set up from the course's 172-yard white tees.
"I've been at this a long time and seen plenty of hole-in-one opportunities to win something, but I've never seen a golfer make one," said Hunting Creek Country Club General Manager Zeke Larson. "Perfect Golf Event could not have been more professional and efficient, and I wouldn't think of utilizing anyone else for hole-in-one insurance."
The hole-in-one contest was sponsored by Marine Sales and Service in Louisville, an 11-acre "on the water" dealership located on the Kentucky bank of the Ohio River. The sought-after hole-in-one prize was a brand new 2021 Regal 2300 high-performance runabout boat measuring 24-feet from bow to stern, featuring a 280-horsepower inboard-outboard Volvo engine.

Hole-in-one insurance is purchased by golf courses and clubs to add excitement to their tournaments, increase player registration and sell multi-level sponsorships. Most successful events have between one and four hole-in-one contents available to participants.
